2010 Ferrari 599 SA Aperta

2010 Ferrari 599 SA Aperta

One of only 80 cars ever produced

In honor of Pininfarina's 80th anniversary, Ferrari decided to produce a limited edition open 599. The  SA designation stood for Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina, the son and grandson of the legendary firm's founder Battista. Global production of the SA was limited to just 80 cars. At its heart was the 6.0-litre V-12 engine sourced from the 599 GTO, capable of producing 661 bhp, which was at the time Ferrari’s most powerful street engine. Even though the car shares many of the components with the hardcore 599 GTO, it is slightly softer and more comfortable to drive, making it more livable on long journeys and giving it a more friendly personality overall.

This specific car was originally delivered in Germany by Ferrari Eberlein Automobile GmbH in September 2011. Finished in the beautiful red “Rosso Fuoco” with black leather interior, upon request of the second owner it was then completely redone with beige leather and alcantara interior by renown Zanasi Ferrari workshop in Maranello. Its last service was done by Ferrari Basel in Switzerland at 3.194 kms, the car now shows only 3.500 kms from new.
