Stunning 1977 Ferrari 208 Dino GT4, chassis DINOF106KL13356. Only 20.725 km, color Azzuro Metallizzato, blue leather/Alcantara interior. One of only 840 Ferrari 208 Dino GT4’s produced, smallest ever production car V8 engine (1.991cc). The Dino GT4 is the only production Ferrari designed by Bertone (Marcello Gandini) and the last Ferrari to date baring the Dino-name. Chassis DINOF106KL13356 left the factory in Maranello on 18 February 1977 and was purchased by its first (Italian) owner on 30 June that same year. Restored to new by Dutch Ferrari-dealer Kroymans in a 4-year long full bare-metal restoration commissioned by the current owner who is a classic car collector and fervent Ferrari aficionado, as well as an author and TV-presenter in the automotive genre. Engine, gearbox, body, interior, clutch, aircon, brakes, correct badges, suspension, shocks, wheels, etc. - all have been restored to new. The restoration was completed in October 2019, since then, only 200 km has been added to the odometer the car runs and drives fantastically. DINOF106KL13356 was originally white (Bianco Polo Park), then painted red in the 1990s and now in Azzuro Mettallizato; an original 1977 Ferrari 208 DinoGT4 color. The 4-year restoration process has been meticulously documented, including hundreds of pictures, numerous magazine articles about the car’s restoration and even a 20-minute TV-documentary on this very car produced by the current owner and aired by RTL in The Netherlands in the winter of 2019/20. The car comes with an incredible amount of rare documentation, such as original 1977 Ferrari brochures and copies of the 208GT4 homologation papers, period internal Ferrari bulletins, manuals, etc. Certification by Ferrari Classiche can be arranged through Kroymans Ferrari if desired.
