Founder
A lifelong G-Wagen enthusiast, Alex Levin turned childhood nostalgia into a focused business. After restoring two 250GD “Wolves” for himself, he founded EMC in 2017 to revive these rugged military convertibles. Each build now receives over 2,300 hours of frame-off craftsmanship, guided by Levin’s vision for precision, heritage, and timeless usability.
Mission
While Expedition Motor Company is outwardly fueled on passion for the 250GD, they are also proud of their commitment to preserving the analog automotive experience. In a time where cars are becoming numb and nanny-laden, they are happy to confirm that their trucks do not drive themselves.
History
Founded in 2017, EMC's primary goal has been to collaborate with the client to develop a personalized, actionable vision for the rare 250GD G-Wagen. Every Wolf that comes out of their shop gets over 2,300 hours of attention from their team of skilled craftsmen with 500 years of collective experience in the art of restoration.
