2015 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster
Sold
The debut of the Vantage in 2005 marked a significant turning point for Aston Martin. No longer were they only building cars positioned at the top end of the performance car market, but now they had a vehicle that could be cross-shopped with the venerable Porsche 911. A curvacious 2-seat coupe, the Vantage was powered by a quad-cam V8 with dry sump lubrication paired to a transaxle at the rear. An immediate hit, the Vantage quickly took the place as the most successful model in Aston Martin’s history, and with the introduction of the V12 Vantage in 2009, it also became known as one of the most exciting to drive.
Throughout automotive history, there are numerous stories of manufacturers taking the largest engine available from a company, and shoehorning it into their smallest model to great fanfare. The V12 Vantage is a perfect example of this practice and is widely considered to be one of the best, Aston Martins ever produced. Producing 510 Horsepower, the Vantage is capable of 0-60 MPH in just 4.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 190mph but is not just a straight-line muscle car. Thanks to extensive testing and tuning of the chassis and suspension, the V12 Vantage is known for its tossable nature and a fun balance between on-the-limit handling and the potential for sideways, tail-out excitement. In 2014, Aston Martin updated the V12 Vantage with the introduction of the “S”, which produced an additional 55 horsepower over the prior model and was available only with a Sportshift III paddle shift gearbox. With slightly more aggressive bodywork, some of the improvements on the Vantage S came out of Aston’s One-77 program, and the updated model featured both three-stage adaptive suspension and all-new carbon ceramic brakes.
This 2015 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster is finished in a beautiful shade of Meteorite Silver over an all Obsidian Black Leather interior. With just two owners from new, this car has only been driven 2,550 miles from new and presents in very nice overall condition. When new, this car was optioned with many desirable extras including the 700-Watt Premium audio system, carbon fiber front grille, front and rear parking sensors, wind deflector, and heated front seats which are also embroidered with the Aston Martin Wings logo. Additionally, as with many high-end English cars, there are a few nice features which aren’t typically seen in luxury vehicles- an umbrella in the trunk and a leather pouch for the ECU key. A set of great-looking Pur 9INE Alu wheels have been added to the car and the front end is covered in paint protection film. The car comes complete with an owner's manual, window sticker, wind deflector in its corresponding bag, and service records.
