2018 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante
One of the most legendary motoring pairings of all time, Aston Martin and Zagato are storied names by themselves, and positively iconic together. Starting with the seminal DB4 GT Zagato, the collaboration between the two companies has endured more than 50 years, offering discerning buyers a dash of Italian flair to complement the sophisticated underpinnings that has always characterized Aston Martins.
The most recent collaboration between Aston and Zagato was based on the Vanquish, the final evolution of the first truly modern Aston Martin, the DB9, whose aluminum structure and transaxle layout brought the marque firmly into the 21st century. The Zagato employed the most powerful version of the naturally-aspirated V12 engine, making 595 hp, more than 100 hp per liter. The Zagato received its own striking styling, both inside and out and was offered four body styles.
This particular example is a Volante (cabriolet) and is one of 99 built for the global market. It is a one-owner car that was purchased new by a collector who also owns Speedster and shooting brake variants of the Zagato. It has covered fewer than 700 miles and comes with the umbrella, tire repair kit, first aid kit, wind deflector, and battery charger.
