2009 Ferrari 16M Scuderia Spider

2009 Ferrari 16M Scuderia Spider

4,900 Mile 16M in Rosso Dino with Full Leather Interior. One of 499 Examples Made.

Sold

Introduced to celebrate Ferrari's 16th Formula 1 Championship, the Scuderia Spider 16M was limited to just 499 units and was a significantly upgraded version of the F430, mirroring most of the changes that the Scuderia received over the F430 Coupe. One of the primary focuses of the changes was to reduce weight, and indeed the 16M weighs approximately 175 pounds less than standard car thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber, lighter wheels, ceramic brakes, lighter bumpers and lightweight carbon fiber seats. The brakes were enlarged and the engine upgraded to increase power to 510hp thanks to revised intake and exhaust systems. The transmission was also updated to provide faster shifts.

This particular example is finished in the rare and unusual Rosso Dino, which is actually orange despite the name, and is a color which originally appeared on the 206 Dino in the late 1960s. The car is optioned with yellow brake calipers, carbon package, nero leather interior, large racing seats, white tachometer face, orange stitching, cavallini stitched in orange, radio/navigation, leather rear shelf, JBL hi-fi sound, nero top, and nero leather A-pillar trim. Included with it are the tools, compressor and tire repair kit, car cover, books, and presentation box with CD.
