2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT
Sold
The second model developed in its entirety by AMG after the SLS, the AMG GT is a marked departure from the cars Mercedes typically fields. A quick review of the car’s specifications confirms that it’s exactly the type of car to get enthusiasts excited: rear wheel drive, front-mid engine, transaxle dual clutch at the back of the car, aluminum chassis, 1.06g of lateral acceleration, and 0-60 mph in about 3.5 seconds. The dry sump hot-V twin-turbocharged V8 makes the full complement of raucous noises we’ve come to appreciate from AMG and the entire car has an athletic, lithe feel, both in terms of how it looks and how it goes down the road.
For the 2018 model year, the car was face-lifted, both aesthetically and mechanically, receiving a power increase of 14 hp. This particular example is one such facelifted car and was sold new by Fletcher Jones Mercedes-Benz in Fremont, California on 17 May 2018. It is a one-owner car that has always been maintained by the original selling dealer and is equipped with Parktronic, lane tracking package, adaptive cruise control (Distronic) Pro, AMG Performance seats, panoramic roof, premium sound system, Keyless Go, silver brake calipers, and AMG Aerodynamics Package.
