2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR
Sold
For decades, Range Rover stood atop the luxury sport utility vehicle marketplace. As trailblazers in the space, no brand could truly match the quality and feeling that comes from driving a Range Rover. But in the 2010s, manufacturers began emphasizing performance sport utility vehicles and Range Rover needed a new model to compete. Although they had the “Sport” and offered a supercharged V8, they were designed to prioritize comfort and off-road capability over skid pad numbers and acceleration times. As an answer to the performance SUVs from BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche, Range Rover debuted the SVR at Pebble Beach in 2014. Based on the smaller Range Rover Sport, the SVR featured a supercharged V8 from the Jaguar F-Type, a new stiffer suspension, quickened shifts from the transmission, and more aggressive bodywork. Going on sale in 2015, the SVR was capable of 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds and had a top speed of over 160mph- both of which put it solidly in the performance territory of its rivals. In 2017, Range Rover showed the facelifted version of the SVR which went on sale in 2018- featuring updated styling and a bump in both power and torque, the new version was even faster with 0-60 accomplished in just 4 seconds flat. The SVR has been lauded for its on-road manners while still keeping some of the off-road chops that Range Rover built their name on.
This 2022 Range Rover Sport SVR is a nearly new example finished in beautiful Eiger Grey over a full Ebony leather interior. Specified with nearly $8,200 in factory options, this SVR has every comfort and convenience feature you could want and is presented with just 1,898 miles from new. One of the first things you notice walking up to the car is the striking set of optional 22” 5-spoke wheels in gloss black which are paired with the black wheel protection package. Typically, the SVR comes with a black painted roof but this example was built with the roof color matched to the body, giving the car appear slightly more under the radar. On the inside, four-zone climate control has been optioned along with heated and cooled seats both front and rear as well as a front center console refrigerated compartment making this performance SUV as comfortable and accommodating as any luxury car. The SVR is a unique vehicle that combines sports car performance with the practicality of a truck and upscale interior accommodations like only the English know how to build. Included in the sale are the original window sticker and a clean CarFax showing just one California owner.
