Significance

The last of the naturally aspirated mid-engined V8 Ferraris, the 458 Italia represents the end of an era. The car is defined by its high-revving naturally aspirated engine, a powerplant which rewards the enthusiastic driver with a surge of power and spectacular noise in the upper rev range. This traditional sports car character is coupled with a hugely competent chassis that is also surprisingly civilized, making the 458 both visceral and usable.

About this vehicle

This particular car was sold new by Ferrari Maserati of Central New Jersey in September of 2012. The car is well-optioned, with carbon fiber racing seats, red stitching, red tachometer, alcantara upper dash trim, alcantara headliner, red brake calipers, carbon fiber interior trim, red seat belts, front axle lift, fender shields, and navigation with Bluetooth and satellite radio.

Driven sparingly, the car was purchased with 4,394 miles by the current owner in 2017 from Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, Connecticut. The car had recently completed Miller’s Certified Pre-Owned inspection process and also had Ferrari’s 7 year maintenance plan. The car’s new owner had the car shipped to California, where he has added an additional 2,200 miles to the odometer. The car has been consistently serviced by Ferrari of Silicon Valley and had its 7th Year Service completed on 7/31/19 at 6,485 miles.
