Significance

The last of the naturally aspirated mid-engined V8 Ferraris, the 458 Italia represents the end of an era. The car is defined by its high-revving naturally aspirated engine, a powerplant which rewards the enthusiastic driver with a surge of power and spectacular noise in the upper rev range. This traditional sports car character is coupled with a hugely competent chassis that is also surprisingly civilized, making the 458 both visceral and usable.

About this vehicle

This particular car was sold new at Ferrari of Silicon on the 6th of April 2011 and has been in the San Francisco Bay Area its entire life. It has had two owners who have covered just 1737 miles from new in the car. It is beautifully specced, finished in grigio titanio with black roof and cuoio interior. Its original MSRP was $300,323 and the car was optioned with black roof, dark finished forged wheels, carbon fiber front intake vanes, rocker panel covers, rear diffuser, dashboard inserts, central bridge, and driver zone with LEDs, Scuderia shields, leather headliner and central tunnel, electric seats, satellite navigation and radio, iPod integration, yellow tachometer, gloss black brake calipers, special stitching in charcoal, and embroidered cavallini on the headrests.

The car is exceptionally complete, with window sticker, both leather-bound “Welcome to Ferrari” books, original sales brochure, tools, compressor, factory car cover and CTEK charger, and all service records from new. The most recent service was performed in November 2019 and included an oil change and new brake fluid.
