Significance

Since the GT3’s debut in 1999, it has never been the fastest or most expensive vehicle in Porsche’s lineup, yet in each generation, it continues to be the most coveted. The formula has always been simple- a high revving naturally aspirated flat-6 engine, the option of a stripped-out interior, and suspension setup for track use. In February of 2021, Porsche unveiled their newest GT3, based on the 992 generation 911. Powered by a 4.0-liter Flat-6, this GT3 was the most powerful yet, producing 503 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque and able to rev to 9,000RPM. Available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK gearbox, this GT3 utilized Porsche’s 991 RSR race car technology to make it the most capable generation yet. Unequal-length control arms in front replace the McPherson Strut front suspension that has been present on 911s since 1963- this development from the RSR helps increase grip while reducing weight in the front of the car. In the rear, a new spoiler design was also brought over from race cars- utilizing “swan-neck” pylons, the wing is suspended from above, allowing for greater downforce in a wider variety of situations. These, combined with numerous other small modifications, add up to a car that is notably faster around a track than the previous variant while gaining a relatively small amount of horsepower.

About this vehicle

This 2022 Porsche GT3 is finished in the classic Porsche shade of Guards Red with black accents displayed around the vehicle. Showing 6,005 miles on the odometer, this car has been enjoyed, but thanks to a full body application of paint protection film, it remains in outstanding condition throughout. One of the most exciting options on the outside of this GT3 is the carbon fiber roof, which offers striking contrast with the red paint and speaks to the car’s performance abilities. Additionally, sitting behind the black GT3 wheels is a set of Carbon Ceramic Brakes- an expensive option that makes for fade-free stopping even during the most serious track driving. A front nose lift system has also been installed- this makes driving this GT3 around in the city much more pleasant and helps immensely with getting in and out of tight parking lots. The interior is finished in Black leather and Race-Tex with Guards Red stitching throughout the car. Fitted with ultra-desirable full bucket seats, this GT3 is ready to hit the track but still comfortable enough to use daily. Gloss carbon fiber trim is present throughout the interior, including on the door sills, and both the tachometer and Sport-Chrono dial are optioned with white faces to make them really stand out. Additionally, this car was optioned with the upgraded BOSE Surround Sound system and Auto Dimming mirrors which both make it a nice place to spend time and rack up the miles. Powering this GT3 is an updated version of the 4.0-liter Flat-6, which produces 502 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque and a 9,000 rpm redline. One of the reasons the GT3 has gained such legendary status is the immense flexibility of the engine- even though it can rev to the stratosphere, it is still extremely tractable around town and has plenty of low-down torque when you need it. This GT3 is fitted with the 7-speed PDK gearbox that offers lightning-fast shifts on the track while also allowing for easy driving in traffic on your way to work. One of the major differences in the 992 GT3 is the addition of an unequal-length control-arm front suspension, which was largely influenced by the 991 RSR race car. This allows for a stiffer front end and less dive under braking but without any sacrifice in comfort over the previous generation car. Typically, when you buy a car that is fantastic on the track, it really isn’t something you would want to use on your daily commute. One of the few exceptions to this rule is the Porsche GT3 and the 992 in particular. This particular car has been well cared for and will provide its new owner thousands of miles of enjoyment behind the wheel, regardless of the driving you choose to do with it.

Why does the right-side front reflector not stay in place?

A small part of the clip in the reflector had broke. They have already been replaced with clear Euro Side Markers, no problem with them anymore. We will update the inspection report.
    Thanks!
