What is the source of the oil leak near the alternator? Has it been fixed?

The oil leak has not been addressed, but the vehicle is currently under factory warranty.

Is it possible to talk to the owner? If I get her/his take on the car, I will be more willing to get closer to their asking price. Also, setting up an auction with no end date is great for the seller, but lousy for the buyer. I think you need to, as a company, take both situations into consideration. Thanks!
